Shin-Hanga #14 - Seated In Splendor

1,150
(From a session with the incredibly beautiful Muirina Fae) Shin-hanga is an extremely beautiful style of Japanese woodblock printmaking that gained popularity in the early 20th century. This series is my attempt to adhere to the shin-hanga aesthetic while trying to make it my own.

Greetings from Vancouver! As a big fan of Shin-hanga, I can't say how much I love this rendering, kudos!

Thank you! I think this piece is the most successful attempt at my goal with this style.

Great work. With Muirina Fae and the woodblock medium, it appears like the perfection of both worlds was meant for each other. Very fine.

Thank you so much! I'm extremely pleased with how it turned out.
