I have always loved the way water looks in infrared; when light strikes water, most of the infrared spectrum is absorbed, so with an infrared sensitive camera, elements in the image that are below the water’s surface are noticeably darker than those above it - thus the luminosity of Tanya’s figure, where below the water it’s become a muted tone at best.
Love the movement in this shot. Bring out the surreal qualities photography is so good at...when you know how to do it. You obviously do.
