For this image I am nearly certain it was simply the light coming through the window into our bedroom. It's maybe 12 feet away, not that wide. I occasionally use a softbox for evening shoots on the bed, but I don't think I've ever done that for 35mm film. I tend to under-expose Acros for higher contrast (or tweak it during scanning).

Thanks - I like working with BW film and natural light. I can take it from conception to publication all with my own hands, and still create the art precisely as I want. I find that infinitely more satisfying than grabbing a snapshot then "fixing" it in post ;)
