Siren’s Gown
246
On rocky shores a Siren slept,
serene, in sheets of aqua hues.
While hard at work,
the ocean stitched
a gown of royal blues.
It wrapped around her, pulling tight,
as tide stepped forth and beckoned night.
And she awoke to full Moon’s kiss,
to sing within its light.
