Part photo, part mixed media painting inspired by the drawing by Leonardo DaVinci "La Scapigliata" (portrayal of a young woman with disheveled hair). The model is Valentine M and was shot in rural Brocéliande in Brittany where I had been living and teaching art for 14 years.
