My ode to Andrew Wyeth and Christina's World. This image totally struck me as Christina's World but in a more modern and realistic rendering even though it's black and white. Andrew Wyeth's painting looks old and is in color.
There was an amazing Wyeth exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum last year. Sadly, "Christina's World" was not there, but I'm growing fond of "Sienna's World" too.
