As I have endured 8 surgeries within 6 years, I have been in chronic pains for years. Initially I attempted to ignore the pain and not acknowledge it. Over time I realized that I must deal with it through my work. Thankfully, I have worked with many models that help me to express my (and their) chronic pain in photos. Sasha (pictured here) is no exception.
