I have served as a consultant and trainer for numerous companies, including First Alert, Coca Cola, United Technologies, RCA, Philips, Toshiba, Johnson Controls, FCI Electronics, Delphi Automotive Systems, Lear Corp. and General Motors, and I'm a featured speaker on various issues such as: Strategic Planning, High Performance Teams, Quality Systems, Total Quality Management, World Class Manufacturing, Kaizen and Continuous Improvement. I have been intimately involved with the small business community bringing and adapting the management technologies that the “Big Companies” use.

A few years ago I decided to challenge myself. I decided to become a professional photographer. More than a career change, this was like an antidote for what I had been doing for many previous years.

Learning about lighting techniques and modeling, as well researching the best photographers, I started developing my own style. In a few months I put together all the most basic elements and Carl Single Studios was born, dedicated to High Class Portraiture and Special Assignments. Among my clients are the former Governor, Jon Huntsman Jr., The National Tongan Association, The Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and The University of Utah.
