about Gene Rivas
Male
I am an artist who paints portraits, dancers, nudes and other subjects with rich colors in classic and modern themes. I primarily work with Caran d’Ache Neocolor II and Lyra Aquacolor crayons, and Prismacolor Colored Pencils. I was raised in Lynwood, California, near Los Angeles, and am the grandson of the Mexican master muralist, Candelario Rivas. My projects and shows have included a series of celebrity and professional portraits, a series of Belly Dancers for a national magazine, and a series of nudes for an upcoming show. I look forward to working with the Model Society models, which appear to be of the finest professionals. My full gallery is at generivas.com
