I have to admit, the placement of the model does make it look like the lava has been stopped by her.
Love the pose, which makes the model seem to blend into the surrounds a little. Great texture in the volcanic rock, and I admire how the way the morphing of the rock in the background is partly echoed by the form and pose of the model. The toning here has really worked well for the piece. Solid work.
