I would say that make sure you are really comfortable shooting with film first. As there is no way to check as you are going along and there is no way to 'undo' or mix and match like you can if it's digital. So you really need to know what each exposure is going to do to the film emulsion.
It is a lot of fun because you don't really know what you are going to get until the film is developed. I would say that Lorna as well as being beautiful took instruction really well to create these. I exposed about half a roll of film and must have got a dozen images of this quality. A higher success rate than regular images! I think because it really focused the mind on the poses.
