Esoteric versus Metaphysical. Both are umbrella words covering a wide range of philosophical or philosophy involving religion of all types and pseudoscience, art, music and literature in its effect of society or culture and intellectual ideas. Metaphysics is an attempt to explain the state of being and the world around it.
