"Flower Face" is a portrait of my husband, Jiep. He is a Lao ladyboy who I met in the course of my work in SE Asia in 2017. Jiep is the inspiration for my exhibition "Metamorphosis: From Marginal to Magnificent" and this is the signature work for that show.
