A magnificent ancient Sweet Chestnut Tree (probably circa 300 + years) photographed at the end of a marvellous day shooting art nude in nature with Ayla in East Anglia, UK. One of many images created that day for my theme on depicting we humans' close connection with, and sense of belonging in, nature.

Ayla was the 2nd model with whom I ever worked, which was an amazing piece of fortune for me because she showed me what was possible, and always pushed and inspired me to continue striving for better and better images. She has now mostly retired, which will be a great loss, but at least I got to work with her half a dozen times or so over the years. That tree is absolutely fabulous, but the light was poor, but how can you not produce something a bit special when she poses like that?!
