I like what you say here Dan. I agree, adding that for me, while it may arouse sexual feelings (and not necessarily for the subject of the image), a "refined eroticism" is not about explicitness but situational, mystery, and leaving a lot to the imagination. It's a challenging area for me too that I have rarely approached.
