Had to add this to my favourites, Philip; the slight tilt that you gave to the camera, then exaggerated by the model's pose adds a dimension of tension, while the industrial-like decay of the set contrasts with the obvious beauty of the model, but there is ambivalence in the severity of her hair, and the backwards look she gives, which is almost predatory, but not obviously so. Engaging work, both intellectually and emotionally.

Thank you so much, Philip, that's very kind! The breadth and depth of your work is inspiring, and your willingness to explore emotion within your work is what sets it apart from that which relies exclusively upon technique, which you have also mastered -- it is the willingness to confront both that creates Art.

Thank-you so much for such a marvelous interpretation. If you're not doing it now, I think you have an obvious talent for criticism and aesthetics. This illustrates the depth of your critical eye and your ability to convey your thoughts is unmatched (at least on this site). John Szarkowski's name easily comes to mind when I read your commentary. He was the first to get me to look at photographs as something more than just a snapshot. His book "Looking at Photographs," was my primer. Thanks so much again! Your commentary is quote worthy!
