The extinct volcano's crater was only 18" deep all the way across. Even at dawn, the water was warm, almost hot. Ducks kept swimming close and then moving away again - they are present in some of the pics in this series. The model, Mikaela, worked in a local store and had advised me where to find this amazing pace - so I asked her to come along. Mikaela had never modeled before.
