a celebration of human beauty

Finding your naming of images really fantastic. They do send me on a path of what you had in your thoughts when doing that. Without the names, I a not sure I would get some of your work. I would have to find my own path through them.

Thank you very much for your encouraging remarks. In many of my images the titles are important pointers toward meaning. Yet I also think that art uses a different language and so words are rarely more than pointers. The above image was born out of a protracted period of painful inner transformation in which I needed masculine strength and feminine illumination to get me "out of the hole".

Thank you for the clarification on naming images. I try to do the same but in a different manner. For me, it's almost always after the fact, whereas you seem to have that name well before you create your image. I will take into consideration the importance or at least the meaning of the name as I ponder your work. Thank you for your openness. And I will start to think about the reason for making a particular image and how it relates to my life. And perhaps having a name for the image before actually attempting to make it. This might make me a better artist.
