Vasco Duarte Abranches is a Composer, Musician, Photographer and Filmmaker. His passion for Photography started when he was about 13 years old and received his first Camera. That Summer was all entirely photographed in black and white film... After that he bought a 2nd handed Yashica Electro 35 and started developing his images in his home studio, in sleepless nights... When finished High School had to choose between Music ( Jazz or Classical? ), Philosophy, Cinema and Photography... He is Passionate about Black and White Photography and old Cameras, his favorite Camera is his Pentax 645. His Favourite Themes are Portrait, Nude and some Macro Landscape... In 2019 released his first short Movie "The Man who was Cinema", inspired on a short story he wrote when he was 19 years old and in 2020 with Ana Catarina "Life and Death - a Gift from Love", a short Movie approaching a new concept around Death. In his own words: " I like to express my emotions through Art, whether it is through Music, Words or Images. What matters is that if i can put my own soul in what i do and feel alive trough my expression." "My Heart has a Brain and my Brain has a Heart "
