I studied art at Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten Rotterdam (now Willem de Kooning Academie and Sculpture at Sheffield City Polytechnic (now Sheffield Hallam University). I started out as a sculptor and painter. I then became interested in photography in itself when I was photographing source material for my sculptures and paintings. Now I pursue all three disciplines. Beyond model photography, I am interested in anti-aesthetics and questioning the nature of photography.
