I am an experienced photographer with a wide range of interests. In addition to photography I am a founding VJ (video jockey) member of Magnetic Poets, a performance art group. I have been the still photographer and videographer on several PBS documentaries (Bhutan, Nepal, Tibet, Fiji, etc.).Until joining several fine arts and fashion photography MeetUp groups recently I worked almost exclusively in natural light. My recent work with some superb models has opened my eyes to studio lighting and the exhilaration of working with the human form. I have a strong orientation to abstraction which lends itself to some bold images that challenge the viewer to see things from new perspectives. A little whimsy never hurts either!
