A documentary style photographer, I'm interested in what makes people and the human experience beautiful. Outward beauty or awesomeness (I love adventure sports athletes too) are only a part of it though and I look for the transcendent moments as well...those perfectly imperfect moments when more than just a likeness is revealed. I always strive to shoot with integrity and honor the subjects I'm working with looking more for an expression than attempting strictly to achieve my vision (which from my perspective is an imperfect attempt to transpose my ideas and experiences onto the form of another.) Honesty and vision combined however, make a remarkably powerful image that springs from an honest collaboration.
