Apart from simply enjoying photographing people in all sorts of environments in any way shape or form, I found that it is the act of capturing and communicating with the model that is the most important part of any shoot. The interaction and bouncing off ideas are what makes shooting with people interesting for me. If, in the end, some great images emerge, then I count this as a bonus. Breaking down barriers that exist due to stigma and perception has become a passion of mine. Since I am pursuing this as a hobby more than a job, I am privileged to relax and not feel any pressure while shooting. This, in the end, benefits the subject as well as myself.
