Photographer Adriano Padella was born and grew up in Catania, Sicily. Later, he developed his artistic skills in Bologna, where he studied film and the visual arts, and found his medium through expression in photography. It was also in Bologna where he engaged in the provocative and satirical Gender Bender Arts scene.His works are derived from a blend of sculpture and performance, and the photographer is inspired by the dynamic evolution of a hybrid path between the two disciplines.
The sculptured body of the soul becomes art when it is captured by the click of the camera. However, this is not where his work stops, as little is left to chance and the final image is the result of a careful study of its context and scenography. The photographer does not hide behind his unique philosophy or the poetic images associated with the moment, and his image is conceived, designed, developed, printed and always inspired by the expressive power of the subject.
I just found you work through exploratory lucky and really appreciate your use of bodypainting, and similar, plus using nature and public locations for your photos, all of which are inspiring to me as model.
