I oft been told, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”.
My usual response is, “A beholder would be neat.”
My inner drummer’s beat has been re-mixed by the people, places and events I have experienced. I was a shy kid. I still am. This affords me time to develop a visual interpretation of the world around me. It has also helped me cope with my inner demons. Although my experience with people has not always been pleasurable, I’ve tried to take something beneficial away from every encounter. The older I get, the more people I meet and the more my path spirals. By embracing each new day, I find places for not only the beautiful things, but the dark and interesting as well. Some of my images may not invoke a tranquility nor should they all find a happy place in your soul. I shoot what I see and what I feel, and I don’t always feel content and complacent…do you?
