My name is Eric Bruinewoud. I'm a Dutch photographer. My work is a 'hands on' kind of photography. I use a technique first used in 1850. I also use a camera from that era. It's completely different from what we are used to these days. The models have to sit still for about 7 seconds, and I can make only 1 photo every 30 minutes or so. It's real photography, pushing the button is not enough.

  • I love your work. How do you get the sepia effect? Is it the paper print or the acid?
