about Gifford Hart

Male

I am a self-taught photographer who has been in love with the art since I was 15 years old. At that age, I started pursuing my passion for the craft with an instamatic camera. Soon, I moved up to a Nikon 35mm film camera and now use a Nikon DSLR. I’ve had a very varied career during my lifetime, from retail to service in the U.S. military; I now serve as a consultant in the IT services industry. Photography will be the fourth career pursuit in my lifetime. My goal as a photographer is to create stunning and artistic images that will delight people who appreciate fine art.

  • You have such a wonderful portfolio! Very powerful images! 👏

  • Thanks for your kind words regarding a few of my images. You have a lovely portfolio full of beautiful lighting on your models. Would like to see more.

  • Really love the images of Anne Teak in the Antique looking environment. A little double entendre for you. Great image here in the primary set of the model in B&W leaning out over a footstool; "Untitled." Went to UVM as my first away from home college so I have a soft spot for Vermont. Also backpacked a lot of the Long Trail (includes the Appalachian Trail) from Southern Vermont to Stowe/Mt Mansfield. I am very envious of folks who manage to live in Vermont even though the population of dairy cows is greater than the human population. (Wondered if it was still this way)? Just started following you too. Lovely portfolio here.

    • Thank you Philip. Interestingly enough I went to UVM to. I moved away about 45 years ago. Joined the Army saw part of the world. I moved back to VT about 4 years ago now. The cow to people has changed and its about .41 cows to people. 626,630 H 260,000 Cows. The old dairy farms are dying out.

  • What a beautiful portfolio. My compliments to you and the beautiful women you've created with!
