I took up photography following reconstructive surgery on both eyes and was fortunate to quickly meet fantastic models in the local community who informed my sensibility regarding figurative art.

An ongoing inspiration in light, shadow and patterning competes with the joy of the sadly-short outdoor shooting season here in Oregon. I continue to be obsessed with blurs and swirls that mimic the confusion and failures of everyday life, as well as the moments that jump from the page with insistence.
