My portrait and Art Nude work follows personal inspirations and also on my experiences from my time in the life drawing class where as an artist you study the human form, posture, space and emotion.
Most of my present day work is working with analogue photography from film to wet plate collodion.
I have been fortunate to have worked with some of the excellent models in the UK, some professional and some that I managed to persuade out of the art class and into the studio or photo location. If I can inspire a thought, emotion or reaction at any level in the viewer than I have succeeded in my work.
I have been honoured with Associate qualifications with both the RPS and BIPP in fine art/visual art using art nude subjects.
Back in 2014 last year saw my 10th anniversary in working with the art nude so to mark the occasion I produced 2 short movies showcasing the models and my work .
