Taking a picture is more than just pointing your camera in the right direction. It's a collaboration between the vision of the photographer and the evocative expression of the model, both of you carefully constructing a scene of moving light and shadow and setting, working together to capture a single specific moment that will last forever.

OK, sometimes it IS just pointing your camera in the right direction, and mostly during my shoots there's a lot of giggling. But I try to work hard at it anyway.

I'm not a professional photographer; I'm a passionate amateur who's done some professional work. My images have been on the front pages of newspapers, on posters and in television commercials. I do my own retouching. I'm not out to make my living this way, but I would like to keep getting better at something I love doing.
