Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and first became interested in making photographs while a teenager who was also interested in Backpacking, Camping and Mountaineering. I liked to try to make the kind of beautiful mountain photographs I always saw in magazines. I am an Electrician with a B.A in Anthropology and Sociology - which are not directly related, and have worked in social services, hotels, construction, studied some acting and attended several excellent photography workshops in the U.S.
My subject matter interests have changed over the years from Landscapes to social documentary photojournalism to portraits, glamour and fine art.
My level of activity has fluctuated enormously but my interest in great photography has remained constant. I want to see if I can produce more of it and perhaps even make a little money doing so.
