I have been creating art all my life and for most of that time, the female form has been my muse. After college, my creative juices turned towards photography. However, the desire to paint and draw the female form, never changed. At some point the bright idea came to combine my muse, with the creative desires and photography. So, I started to body painting but with a different twist then your average body painter. I sought to combine the interplay of negative space with splashes of color to make the body into more of a graphic of shapes and curves. The body painting became a starting point for the series I call, Transflexions. A digital mix of reflections and transformations that create these other worldly images. Each image of the series, seems to tell a story for the viewer to imagine. The Transflexions are sometimes grotesque, ornamental or just a kaleidoscope of imagery. Each image is a a unique mix of form, shapes and color that could never be recreated.
