I am self taught both with photography and with photoshop. I do all my own retouching, compositing and image manipulation. I err more on the side of photo editing to achieve the intender purpose of the image, rather than the purist view of capturing only what is received on the image sensor. Photography and freedom are essentially linked for me. Expressing creativity through capturing light is part of my journey. The nude represents what is quintissentially human, vulnerable, eternal and yet ephemeral.
I want to tell stories about the vulnerable side of being human; intimacy, dreams, fears, disconnection and loss.
