Photography allows me to express myself and experience the world as I create fine art images. I began, and continue, as a landscape photographer and I originally photographed almost exclusively in color. Like many photographers, I started in film and I have had a wonderful journey as the digital age of photography has emerged.

I then became enthralled with safaris to Kenya photographing animals in their native environment. These elegant creatures in the wild provide the photographer with amazing up close and personal experiences.

My creativity was expanded when I elected to focus on black & white photography. Less is more and the fine art image takes on new meaning. I began this journey in nude photography working with Kim Weston at “Wildcat”, original home of Edward Weston, in Carmel, CA. Working together with the model and seeing in black & white has brought new creativity to all of my work. I continue to express myself in this area and I have now been able to capture nude images in the remote areas of Lake Powell.

I have been fortunate to receive a Kodak Gallery Award for select work as well as receiving many awards in photography competitions. I live in Los Angeles, CA and have most recently traveled to Iceland to capture images.
