I have enjoyed photographing nature for 2 or 3 decades, and have been pleased with my development as a photographer over this time. Whereas I recall throwing out as many as 90% of my images in my teens and twenties, over time my eye-hand co-ordination has become more selective. Photographing a woman – particularly a naked woman - who ‘is’ part of nature is the easiest thing I’ve ever done… and one of the most exhilarating.
During the three weeks working with Jacqueline this fall, I discovered that two naked people can be so in tune with nature that all sexual thoughts are forgotten… and all that remains is nature… exquisite, beautiful nature.
The thousands of images which came out of our three week collaboration are fully ‘naturism’… even where the body is fully exposed, there is not a hint of sexual color. I attribute this to Jacqueline’s profound ability to ‘be one with nature.’
It has been a profound honor to work with Jacqueline this first season. I look forward to working with her and other models for decades to come.
