about Neil Jacobson

Male

I am an experienced "female nude" photographer. I consider that light is my palette and try to create images that attract, engage and challenge the viewer.

I use a variety of tools to accomplish my goal. This includes using DSLR's (a Canon T3i and a T6i), film (35 mm, 645, and 6x6), and computer manipulation.

I don't try to use a specific style. I think it's more interesting to experiment. As I've heard it said it's better to try and fail gloriously than not to try at all.

Come into my portfolio and see what I have in store for you. Note that I am in the process of moving and will update this profile when I have settled in.

I am very pleased that you like my photo. If you ever have the opportunity to work with Amelia don't hesitate. She's beautiful.

    Hello Chelseajo -

Thank you for your great comment. It makes it worthwhile to continue my photography. But, I must say that if I hadn't been able to work with wonderful models that I wouldn't have been able to do this otherwise.

    Thanks again.

    Neil

P.S. I checked your site page and your photos are beautiful. Maybe we could work together sometime in the future.

Beautiful work. I love the retro historic feeling of your photographs and creative use of lighting. Very talented indeed. Sometimes less is more, and your skill allows the true beauty of the entire image to be taken as a whole.. Amazing, thank you for sharing your obvious talent here.

Morning! I hope all is well and good in Neil land. Enjoy your weekend.

  • Hi Neil
Many thanks for your kind comments re my portfolio and for following my work, which is much appreciated! My science training has been in biology and the environmental sciences. My working life has been an interesting mix of science ruled by my head, and art/creativity ruled very much by my heart. It's certainly led to a rewarding career and an interesting (if at times challenging) life! :-)
