I started photography about 30 years ago when I took pictures during my travels. Later I took pictures at punk rock shows of the bands I liked. I learned the craft with a Minolta SRT 101 - the analogue camera of my parents with which I had to set everything manually- from focus to aperture to shutter speed. Today I work with a fujifilm xt-3 but I still got one of these old SLRs. I love the way it's limitations influences my work. It slows me down forces me to see before I shoot.
Taking pictures is a meditative state of mind: I'm completely in the here and now and focus only on the picture that is going to happen.
Nice portfolio and I like your "about" info. You have a good outlook on our craft and you explain what makes you tick. Keep up the great work and stay safe as we all hunker down. Soon we'll be able to resume life as normal, or close to it.
