Photography is not my profession, not my hobby, it is my therapy.
Being creative is something I must do to stay sane. That is why my photography work is so scattered around different ideas, genres and techniques. Every time I learn something new I need to do it. Every time I see something cool I want to try it. I chose “fushigii” last year as a name for my work without understanding why at the time. Art therapy has been around for a while, photography as therapy not so much. Photography helped me out of the darkest depression that I faced in my life so far. I have been self-medicating all my life, I just did not realize it. I had to take a break for a couple of years and am extremely interested in shooting again.
The creative PROCESS is the most important thing for me, not the results. Anyone who is serious about results I am not a good match for.
I like to work with ideas and concepts that are a bit different. I would like to work with models who are dynamic and unique. I do a lot of test or study shoots. Somethings work and some do not. I am interested in learning as much as possible and trying different things. I usually learn the most from the models I work with.
