I am a fine art photographer who lives and works in Geneva, the French west side of Switzerland. Member of the “Société Genevoise de Photographie” since 1958 and of FIAP, I started in the early 60s devoting my time to the probably most difficult task in photography, the representation of the female body.
The essence of my relationship to the nude is the photographic exploration of the female body and its architecture to natural specific environments, at dawn or twilight when light is at most interesting. The female body remains my passion as a form of aesthetic research and a way to express emotions and fantasies. My view of the nude is an eternal “homage to womanhood”, drawing out the best of each model. Technically self-taught, I always work alone with amateur models who enjoy being photographed. My work in B&W and colour has appeared in many magazines, books and national/international competitions and I had organised several solo shows in galleries.
