I've been doing photography for 30 years. I once was talking to a gallery owner, and she said I had the skill but that I needed to make my work more universal and more anonymous to make it marketable. It was at that moment that I decided to do work that is very personal. I try to capture a person's beauty as well as their personal character and emotions in my photography. I try to capture the non-tangible aspects of a person.
