I have a Bachelors Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Visual Communications from Indiana University. In my early career, I was Art Director at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Afterwards, I spent 15 years as a freelance photographer and graphic designer. I have a strong background in film and darkroom work and was an early adopter of digital technology. I taught for 25 years at the college level in Northern California. Throughout my career I have instructed hundreds of students, photographers and creative professionals to become proficient in the use of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Final Cut Pro.I am currently retired from education and work on personal projects in both fine art photography and graphics.
