I have made my living since 1976 photographing water-oriented wilderness landscapes of America for books and fine art photographs. In 1996 I began incorporating the figure into my landscapes for my book, A Voice Within — The Lake Superior Nudes (which won major awards and was featured in American Photo), as a way to more intimately connect the viewer to the lakescape. This genre has become an important part of my personal, fine art work. I've taught many nudes in the landscape workshops for symposia including Fotofusion. I co-taught the Dynamic Nudes workshops on Lake Powell I hope those images will lead to my second book within this genre. The images I'm showing here are either from A Voice Within, or my more recent work from Lake Powell.
