about Calmnudes

The Clue is in the name "CalmNudes". I shoot mostly nudes, tap dance round the edges of fetish and erotica and do the occasional portrait. I'm not really interested in producing full on adult stuff; one of my models named my style 'Calm' nudes and I rather liked the tag.

I don't do photography full time; I ran a business in the 1990s and have no appetite for the business side of a photography business thank you very much, the job I have pays too well to give it up to be a stuggling photographer.

I still try to bring the same professionalism to my photography that I bring to my day job. I try to return all messages with courtesy. Models who insist they never shoot nudes, and then contact me without even looking at the name I use , do tax this slightly. I'm happy for anyone to contact models I've worked with and studios where I've worked for reference purposes.
