I am not sure how long I will be a model, the wages of time and life in general take a toll. But I will continue as long as I am able to create pleasing images. I have on occasion helped coach and costume other models. It gives a lot of satisfaction to see someone come out of their shell and take on a whole new persona.
And I think that's what I enjoy most. Becoming someone else - or becoming more of myself - when I'm in front of the lens. I always tell my spouse how excited I am for the next shoot to "play dressup" and it's true. Creating and expressing a character allows me to loosen my own internal boundaries.
I'm so pleased that some of what I help create is considered artistic.
What a gorgeous and lovely portfolio. Hopefully we can work together on a remote figure drawing session one day!
