Art is in my DNA whether it is through my choreography , creating imagery or as a vocalist. I trained professionally in theatre and was lead vocalist in an originals band so my references are wide. I have always explored aesthetics through fashion, dance, film, photography and design and only in recent times have discovered a role as model and artists model. Performance has been a strong driver for this new chapter and to be back as subject, muse and artist is truly thrilling. I am a “london girl” but my influences are international and on a broad spectrum. I am fascinated by story telling and narrative but also the abstract use of the human body, especially looking at rawness and primal. Fashion and vintage play a strong role to evoke and celebrate not to emulate or merely as dress up and I am inspired by campaigns from respected photographers that shot fashion and their work is still reverberating, Avedon for Versace as an example. I’m looking to widen my artistic world and work with individuals that see life through a similar lens to me, honestly, candidly, sensuously and beautifully.
