about Lauren Taylor
Female
I began my career in marketing at LVMH and worked with a plethora of luxury brands and eventually moved on to work for nonprofits. It was a great seven years and I absolutely loved what I did but I lusted for something more.
I cancelled my wedding, left my job, moved out of my apartment and set out on a mission across the world to spread kindness through volunteerism. I visited South Africa, UAE, Thailand, Indonesia and more. It changed my life and I decided to continue living the life I really wanted to live. That being said I came home and enrolled in culinary school, became more focused on my blog and started to do shoots here and there. Finally at 28 I had become who I wanted to be.
It's been almost a year and I've completed culinary school, worked in Italy, Indonesia and the states and have also had modeling opportunities in all of those locations as well.
Modeling isn't my main focus but it's an amazing avenue to channel energy when you want to become another person or just have a little fun by mixing things up...and in turn, it's helping someone else with their campaign, music, product, etc. And, help is something I am down with because my life's motto is "If you're not making someone else's life better then you're wasting your time." So, anyway I can do my part whether its through the blogosphere or culinary or modeling worlds then I'm amped about doing it.
I've done a number of different projects ranging from glamour to music videos, commercials and movie trailers. I'm versatile because I'm easy to work with, prompt and organized. I take direction just as well as I take the initiative in nailing a shot and I'm always committed to doing it 10 more times if need be.
Thanks for stopping by and learning a bit about me.
Hope to hear from you soon and all the best in your search!
Any chance you'll be somewhere around Boston in the next few months? I'd love to work with you.
Dave

Stunning work, Lauren.
Nice Bio ---I totally get your idea of doing what you want to . I left a high paying job to open a studio and never looked back. That was 25 years ago and now I am retired still doing what I want to. That is life at it's best . Your images show your inner strength and have impact.
