about Dancing Debi

Female

I am a 48 year old Published model, my hay-day was back in the late 80's early 90's - I was "bought" out of retirement 2 years ago after being asked to do a few shoots for a local photographer who wanted someone a "little different" to the norm to pose for his exhibition work. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed being in front of the camera... Since then I have been working hard and my love for modelling and the arts has been re-ignited. My figure has changed since "back in the day" more curvy - and I like it.

I'm a hard worker, very conscientious and take direction easily, I have gained a reputation with some of the photographers I have worked with recently as being a little crazy... yes, at my age, I'm happy to climb trees, and push myself to the max.

I would like to say I'm trying to make a stand for us maturer models, to send people the message that just because we have hit a certain age, it doesn't mean we need to give up on ourselves, we can still look beautiful and there will always be a market for us somewhere out there, and not necessarily just stair lifts and over a certain age holiday. I wouldn't describe myself as beautiful or pretty, I would say I have a quirky face... someone once described me as a blank canvass that can be worked on to look like a masterpiece. A compliment I feel.

I enjoy collaboration as I think it is a great way to gain more experience for both myself and the photographer.. and yes, I am willing to do TFP work with the right photographer, although I do mainly get paid for work that I do when being published or used for advertising purposes.

I currently work full time - this means that ideally, any planned shoots would be for evenings or weekends. I am able to take time off work given enough notice.

I do have part agency representation but the majority of the work that I do is freelance.

If you are interested in working with me, please feel free to drop me a line, I don't bite and really am quite approachable, I would be interested to hear your ideas and definitely would enjoy creating "that" SPECIAL image we all dream about.

If you have taken the time to sit and read this, thank you... I do have a tendancy to "go on" a bit.
