I am a Queensland based artist. He studied art at the James Street art college in Perth Western Australia in 1971, and has recently focused on painting full time after running a successful graphic design business.In 2006 did the artist’s pilgrimage to France to see first hand the paintings of the great masters, and in Spain learnt portrait techniques from world famous American realist painter Daniel E. Greene.
The principal theme of my work is the beauty in life and the human form, particularly the portrait. With his distinctive style I attempt to convey a feeling of emotion within the painting , “it is always the true nature of the subject that shines through that I desire to capture.”
My artwork has been shown in exhibitions in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and my paintings are in private collections in Australia and the U.S.A.
