about Van Evan Fuller
I was born in a log cabin, and I cannot tell a lie.
I've been an artist, illustrator, cartoonist and designer since 1980. Since 1995 I've been working digitally because ink and paint were ruining too many of my shirts. I used to work with live models, but with the switch to digital art I began using reference photographs instead because don't complain about the thermostat.
By the way...I don't simply retouch those photos or add special filters or effects. I paint my pictures by hand, one stroke at a time, on a blank digital canvas. I do employ a few digital shortcuts to ensure accuracy and streamline the process, but the pictures are true paintings.
You should go to my gallery and buy one, right now, while I'm still undervalued and unappreciated.
