Image taken at Defiance House which was named after the warrior pictographs on the cliff above the ruin. It was occupied by the Anasazi Indians (Ancestral Puebloans) from approximately 1250 to 1285 A.D. It is located in a very remote part of the Lake Powell recreation area mainly reachable by boat.
